Zimnat employee in trouble over $9000 fraud

An employee with the Zimnat Insurance Company is in trouble after he allegedly defrauded a Nkulumane resident of over $9000 in a house selling deal worth $18 000.
Nhlanhla Sibanda (36) was not asked to plead to fraud when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Sithembiso Ncube. The magistrate remanded him out of custody on $200 bail to November 1.
The court heard that the accused who is the elder brother of the complainant Ishmael Thabani Mashava. Sibanda was granted an order by the magistrate court on December 30 2015 to sell house number 14947 Nkulumane and share proceeds with the complainant.
Sibanda sold the house to Luckon Moyo and Florance Moyo and received $18 000 and instead of giving the young brother $9000 he converted all the money to his use.
A report made to the police led to his arrest.
