Zanu PF escalating factional fights played out in parliament today pitting vice presidents Emmerson Mnangagwa and Phelekezela Mphoko.

Mnangagwa and Mphoko are in rival camps battling to take-over power from the 92 year old President Robert Mugabe.

Mnangagwa was in parliament as the leader of the house.

Mphoko, who routinely skip sessions came in way late and set right next to Mnangagwa.

However, a few minutes later Mnangagwa left the house in a hurry.

Social media users quickly interpreted the stunt as "deep hatred for each other".

Mnangagwa belongs to Team Lacoste while Mphoko is part of G40. Recently, Mnangagwa told the house no vice president and ministers are immune from arrest.

That was after Mphoko ministers cannot be arrested.

He was making reference to Higher Education minister Jonathan Moyo whom he said if arrested, government would be destabilised.
