Woman leaves 2-year-old alone on the street

A woman from Sizinda in Bulawayo is in trouble after she left a 2-year-old child unattended leading to the minor being spotted walking alone on the street and picked by good Samaritans.
Listen Tshuma was not asked to plead to the charge of contravening the Children's Act when she appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya.
She was remanded out of custody to November 10 for trial.
The court heard that on October 25 this year Tshuma was at the RMS company close to Railway Station in Bulawayo when she left her child aged 2 unattended to.
The child was later seen by a motorist walking alone along 13th avenue.
The motorist took the child to the police and investigations established that the child belonged to Tshuma. She was later arrested.
