A Bulawayo based police officer, Rodgers Murindi, is at odds with his ex-lover over his underwear colours
Murindi says his former lover Eunice Mazengwe is in the habit of calling his wife telling her the colour of the underwear he would be wearing on a particular day.
That is meant to prove she is in love with Murindi and that they would have seen each other.
As a result, Murindi sought a restraining order at the court.
"I was in a relationship with Eunice Mazengwe and separated last year.
"Despite the fact that we separated she is in the habit of coming to my workplace to say bad things about me and my family.
"Another issue is that she would call my wife telling her we had been together and then tell her the colour of my underwear" he said.
However, Mazengwe burst into tears saying she was sexually abused in front of her daughter by Murindi.
"My daughter is still traumatised after the incident.
"He is lying that I called his wife".
Magistrate Sheunesu Matova threw out Murindi's application citing lack of evidence.
