Mthwakazi Liberation Front has mocked the Bulawayo City Council  and government for their failure to prepare for the water crisis eventualities following the prolonged water shedding period which saw some suburbs going for almost a full week without running water.

MLF spokesperson Ndabezinhle Fuyane said all the failures that the local authority has, is due to the failure by the ruling Zanu PF government to run the country.

"Now that Zanu PF has tried and failed all its efforts to brutalize people of Mthwakazi in every sphere of Mthwakazi," he said. "They have hit the Mthwakazi's  capital, Bulawayo with water sanctions. Bulawayo can now go for a week or two without water.  They have appointed their new town clerk who has since appointment has changed everything in town."

Fuyane said now  the type of government people are dealing with does not care about the people, hence the need to have a united front to successfully attain their independence.

"This is the type of government we do not desire to have in our free Mthwakazi. We don't seek to have a government that would make it's own people slaves," he said.
