Learner driver runs over 6-yr-old son, killing him on the spot

BULAWAYO - A Queens Park West woman who was learning to drive accidentally ran over and killed her 6-year-old son while trying to drive through a gate.
Michael Chitehwe was allegedly teaching his wife Felista to drive when she lost control of the car at their home when the accident happened leading to the boy's death on the spot.
Acting Bulawayo police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Abednico Ncube confirmed the incident.
According to eyewitnesses the boy was run over just after opening the gate when his mother lost control of the car hitting the side of the gate where the little boy was standing resulting in his death.
