Matsheumhlope duo up for robbery

Two men from Matsheumhlope have been arrested over a $100 robbery scam.
Wonder Sibanda and Sithembinkosi Ncube was not asked to plead to robbery when they appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Tawanda Muchemwa.
They were remanded to November 28.
The complainant in the matter is Jeniffer Ncube of Riverside in Bulawayo.
The court was told that on November 16 this year the two met Ncube along the road in the city and grabbed her before robbing her of her mobile phones and cash all amounting to $100 while one of them was throttling her.
After the robbery they ran away and she made a report to the police leading to their arrest. The property they stole was not recovered.
