Pupil hangs self

A form one male student from Chiredzi Christian College, Nathan Dzumbira died after hanging himself from the roof of his grandmother's house last Sunday.

Chiredzi Christian Headmaster Johnson Chikwati confirmed the incident and said the reasons for the suicide were not clear as he did not leave any suicide note but relatives and friends said there were some social issues affecting him.

The boy is said to have been living with his grandmother in Tshovani after his father married another wife.
