HARARE - Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-T) bold supporters painted Highfields Machipisa shopping centre red yesterday (Saturday) at their star rally held at Zimbabwe grounds.
The supporters ran around Machipisa shopping centre in their regalia chanting their party slogans in the rain soaked weather.
Some supporters went to party at Jimi Jimalo bar in celebrations of rains calling their president a rain maker and redeemer
"Our president, our hero, our redeemer he came with rains for us to have food do not mind the short message just seeing him makes us joyous," lamented MDC T supporters.
Addressing his supporters MDC T leader Morgan Tsvangirai assured his supporters that he was not going to join Mugabe in forming a Government of National Unity (GNU) as anticipated by some Zimbabweans.
The rally did not move according to their plan as it was disturbed by heavy rains that hit Harare yesterday.
