Mugabe calls for continued nurturing of Zimbabwe-Cuba relations

President Mugabe has called for the continued nurturing of Zimbabwe-Cuba relations.

Speaking at the residence of the Zimbabwean ambassador to Cuba in Havana on Thursday, the President said some of the close relations were born under the leadership of the former Cuban revolutionary leader, Cde Castro.

He said there is need to continue working hard to maintain the close ties pioneered by the late Cuban leader.

Zimbabwean students in Havana, Foreign Affairs Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, Health and Child Care Minister Dr David Parirenyatwa and other officials attended the meeting.
