PAN African Parliament chairperson Auxillia Mnangagwa has called on political leaders to go beyond lip service in tackling hunger in their respective countries and deliver tangible results that can benefit the continent.

In her opening address at a workshop organised Pan-African Parliament in Kenya last week, Mnangagwa said food security in Africa was under threat owing to climate change.

Zimbabwe is currently facing serious food shortages with over four million in need of food aid, owing to the El Nino induced drought.
