Looted CDF re-introduced, $50 000 for each constituency

The Constituency Development Fund (CDF) is back on line with each constituency allocated $50 000.
Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa made the announcement during his 2017 national budget presentation.
CDF is meant to develop constituencies.
However, government suspended the facility after some legislators abused the fund by buying personal assets such as motor vehicles, motor bikes, household furniture and grinding machines.
Other legislators failed to produce audited accounts.
