Government impose price freeze

Government has introduced a price freeze Chinamasa on public service utility charges and fees in 2017.
According to Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa, the freeze would be on water and power among other services.
"We are proposing to freeze increase on charges by government institutions, water, power" he said adding that if there should be any increases, applications have to be made.
Power utility firm Zesa battled for a tariff hike without success this year.
