Work related accident claims 1 at Tongaat

An accident which happened at Tongaat Hullet`s Hippo Valley Mill claimed the life of an electrician on Monday night after he fell while fixing lights.
Tongaat Hullet Communications and Corporate Affairs Manager Adelaide Chikunguru confirmed the incident. She said the electrician was working at the mill during the night. She said investigations to establish the cause of the accident are still underway.
A worker at the mill who requested not to be named said the electrician Dennis Chikwanda fell at gantry mill approximately from a height of 11m at around 930pm on Monday night and was pronounced dead at 0200hours.
