A Mvurwi man in his 20s is battling for life at Mvurwi hospital after he was thoroughly beaten by citizens for stealing irrigation pipes.
The man has been identified as Tariro Madzura from Guvheti ranch in Mvurwi, Mashonaland Central.
According to witnesses Madzura was caught stealing irrigation pipes on 15 December and he was seriously bashed before being surrendered to Mvurwi police.
His medical report reviewed that he got six fractures all over his body.
