Christmas day ended disastrous for Impinge based electrician who was electrocuted in a bid to fix a water pump and is currently battling for life at Mvurwi hospital Mashonaland Central province.
Eye witnesses allege that Lovemore Mapuranga was electrocuted by a water pump, which he wanted to maintain.
"Mapuranga wanted to maintain the water pump which had malfunctioning wires but he was very unfortunate and he was electrocuted on Christamas day we hope he will recover and celebrate 2017 with us but he is really in bad shape currently at Mvurwi hospital," said the source.
