Man bashes mother-in-law

A 30 year old Concession man is in police custody for bashing his mother-in-law over children's clothes dispute on Christmas day.
Allegations are that Tawanda Munetsi aka Mhofu of Jemu farm Concession, Mashonaland Central bashed his mother in-law with a club after she came to collect her grandchildren's clothes on Christmas day.
Mhofu reportedly assaulted his wife first who then sought refuge together with her children at her mother's place and the mother in-law confronted him.
A police report was made at Mvurwi police station leading to Mhofu's arrest.
Cases of violence are on the increase in farms around Mashonaland Central and a huge number is set to appear in court tomorrow facing assault charges.
