Council, ZRP confiscate vendors' goods

Vendors in Mvurwi have blasted local council for conniving with police armed with dogs in confiscating their little products on sell.
Speaking to Bulawayo24.com various vendors who declined to be named for fear of victimization and denial of food aid expressed their disgruntlement.
"Our council is very ruthless now there are moving with sniffer dogs to instil terror in us instead of hunting for criminals police is using trained dogs on us we cannot complain because if you complain you will be aligned to an opposition party and suffer gloomily, said the source.
The council referred all questions to the town secretary Sheri Nyakudya who could not be reached for comment.
Police said they are conducting an operation to bring sanity in the city during this festive season and so far more than ten touts have appeared before a magistrate court.
