Woman attempts suicide after seeing prophet drinking beer on Christmas day

A Chiweshe woman is battling for her life at Howard hospital in Mashonaland Central province, after trying to kill herself with a toxic substance on Thursday.

It is alleged the woman saw her husband's brother who is a well-known apostolic prophet drinking alcohol on Christmas day and went on to to tell their family about it.

Following the revelation, apparently the prophet went on to make the woman's life difficult. It is not said how he did this but whatever it was, it caused the woman to buy a toxic substance and drank it.
