BCC suspends water shedding

The City of Bulawayo has advised its residents that it has suspended the water shedding programme owing to the consistant rain fall that fell in the city and surrounding areas.
"The City of Bulawayo would like to advise the residents and stakeholders that the water shedding programme has been suspended. As at Wednesday, 4th January 2017, the total capacity of the City's dams was at 32.02%. The inflows received in the supply dams is 21, 146,238 cubic metres.
Council will continue to monitor and analyse the consumption patterns to inform its next decision. We encourage residents to conserve water," said the council in a statement.
