PROFESSOR Arthur Oliver Guseni Mutambara has put President Robert Gabriel Mugabe in trouble after the High Court of Bulawayo ruled today that he must stop acting up as the leader of the other Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) formation.

President Mugabe has maintained that he can only swear in Professor Welshman Ncube as the country Deputy Prime Minister only after the "court case is finished."

The Octogenarian leader now has to part ways with Prof Mutambara who has been accused by MDC activists as "having Monday morning tea with Mugabe" by default.

Other political activists who have to swallow the bitter pill are Professor Lovemore Madhuku, Mugabe's wordsmith-George Charamba and MDC T president Morgan Tsvangirai, who all have supported Prof Mutambara's stay in power by default.

Tsvangirai will now to make do with his long time rivals Prof Ncube and President Mugabe if the latter agrees to swear in Prof Ncube as DPM.

The political poser judgement was delivered by Justice Nicholas Mathonsi on behalf of his brother Judge – Justice Lawrence Kamocha. He said in full:

"The Applicant is entitled to the final order," he said. It is not yet established whether or not Prof Mutambara will appeal against the ruling at the highest court in the land - the Supreme Court.

However legal experts have said even if he appeals that appeal will not erode the High Court ruling but may just delay its execution. President Mugabe's spokesperson could not be immediately reached for comment. The power wrangle between Prof Ncube and his east while friend Prof Mutambara started in January this year at the MDC congress in Harare. Prof Mutambara led a group of 13 rebels who argued that there was a breach of processes that led t the subsequent election of Prof Ncube as the party president.

They thus contested the legitimacy of the party structure that immerged from congress deliberations and elections.
