A Bindura woman is in a critical condition after her husband shot her before he turned the gun on himself.
A deadly domestic dispute has left a Bindura woman battling for her life after her husband who is suspected to be a security guard shot her at point blank in front of their two children before taking his own life.
The incident which occurred this afternoon (Friday) at a motor spares shop in the town's central business district has left residents in a state of shock.
When ZBC News arrived at the scene the wife had already been rushed to Bindura Provincial Hospital while police were collecting the body of the deceased husband.
According to people who were within the vicinity, they heard two people arguing inside the shop before shots were fired.
The wife only identified as Amai Munashe is said to have managed to escape and when police arrived they found the husband dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The motives behind the husband's alleged attack is still unclear.
