Five makorokozas appear in court

Five illegal miners popularly known as makorokoza who were arrested on Saturday in Mbire appeared before Guruve magistrate Atwell Sanyatwi on Moday (toady).
According to public prosecutor Venecencia Musiiwa the five Mugovera Mashanga, Tapiwa Masaka, Witness Makuwerere, Tirivangani Nyamhandu and Tendai Makuwerere were arrested at Masoka river on 21 January for mining without a permit.
The suspects pleaded guilty to the charge but exhibit was not proven to the court since their tools were not brought to court hence they were remanded in custody to 25 January
