'Prophet Magaya healed me'

A skin cancer patient was in tears narrating how he suffered from the disease and testified that he was healed after receiving prayers from Prophetic Healing and Deliverance ministries founder Prophet Walter Magaya at their Waterfalls service on Sunday.

Josephat Mwenye, 24, of Mwenye village in Mutoko testified before a multitude of people who attended the Sunday service showing his body while a video of his first visit was beamed on Yadah TV forcing other cancer patients who were present to cry for help.

"I hope you remember me when I received prayers last year in December when I was on a wheel chair, unable to see, speak or walk," said Josephat.

"My condition was so bad that I produced a stench and was attracting flies that people could not sit next to me but today, after visiting the arena of liberty, here I am," said Josephat to a ponderous applause from the crowd.

"I am here to testify that I was healed after the servant of God Prophet Magaya laid his hands on me and gave me a towel to use," he continued.

"I received new skin and the cracking skin disappeared and Prophet Magaya clothed me, I feel highly favoured by God of Prophet Magaya.

"My life, and that of my parents, has been renewed and I will never leave PHD, take me as one of PHD family," said Josephat.



One of the breast cancer patients Susan Chimanga of Stoneridge cried out from the crowd and showed herself to Prophet Magaya for prayers forcing the congregation into praying thanking God for the great works being done among them.

"Prophet, pray for me also please Prophet ndatambura," she was heard saying as she left her seat running towards Prophet Magaya.

Speaking to H-Metro after the service, Josephat said the cancer developed after he visited Marondera where he was called to guard a farm.

"It started two weeks after I visited a farm where I was employed as a security guard," said Josephat.

"I was taken to a clinic and they referred me to a mission hospital and later referred me to a local hospital in Harare but it was worsening.

"I want to believe it was more of a spiritual attack because I never responded to medication, Prophet Magaya was sent to people like me and I, along with my parents, will always pray for him.

"He gave me a towel to use when taking a bath and as I used it, I noticed that a new skin was developing ganda rakaunyana richifunuka-funuka, Mwari uyu anodavanhu handimusiye Mwari anonamatwa naProphet Magaya.

"He bought new clothes for me and today I look a different Josephat from the one people used to know," he said showing his body and the cloth he is using.
