Bogus doctor arrested in Harare

Police in Harare have arrested a man for masquerading as a medical doctor and swindling people of their money.
Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector James Sabau said the man, Pardon Muwengwa was masquerading as a Dr Sithole at Parirenyatwa hospital.
Inspector Sabau said investigations have revealed that Muwengwa tricked a number of people by promising to facilitate for nurse training places at the hospital.
He said Muwengwa also had a list of patients who owed Parirenyatwa hospital and would collect the money for himself.
Inspector Sabau called on all people who might have fallen victim to the suspected fraudster to report to the police and assist them with investigations.
