Youths aligned to Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa have warned Zanu-PF youth leader, Kudzai Chipanga, against threatening to take up arms to block the imposition of President Mugabe's successor.
Last week Chipanga said they were now "so angry" with the ongoing savage attacks on Mugabe by sections of the former liberation movement that they would "go to war" to defend the President Mugabe.
Meanwhile, Chipanga, reportedly lost goods worth about $15 000 when his 12-roomed farmhouse in Headlands went up in smoke on Wednesday, amid speculation the suspected arson was politically-related.
Chipanga confirmed the incident yesterday, but ruled out foul play, saying the fire, which occurred at his Workfield Farm, could have been caused by an electrical fault.
But Zanu-PF Manicaland provincial youth chairperson, Mubuso Chinguno, implicate a rival faction opposed to Chipanga's camp for the alleged arson.
