The ZimFirst Leader Maxwell Shumba has mocked the ruling Zanu PF over the horrible state of the roads in Harare and Chitungwiza indicating that this was a clear sign that the regime has totally failed.

"Thou shall not be afraid to say the truth! Calling A Spade, A Spade- on Chitungwiza streets it now takes 20-30 minutes to drive a 5 km stretch if one wants to guarantee the health and safety of the passengers and the car. The potholes are atrocious. The story is the same on all Zimbabwe's roads," Shumba said.

"To say the roads in Zimbabwe are bad isn't doing justice to the truth. They have become treacherous, death traps and a national security risk. The roads visibly tell their own story of abandonment. The nation's abandonment. The councils in charge are hugely to blame. The party in charge of the mayor's office, MDC T is equally to blame together with the Zanu PF ministries in charge . If MDC T councils are not part of the rot why have they not resigned en mass? MDC T cannot have it both ways. Be in charge of a rotting system and blame it at the same time. It is hypocritical."

He also said these roads are death beds and they cris-cross our cities which are overseen by the respective councils in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government under the wayward Saviour Kasukuwere.

"What struggle are the MDC T Councillors in at this point in time? Or theirs ended when they won council elections which gave them access to the feeding trough. Zvavo zvakaita?" he said.

"So people want MDC T to be the next government simply because they have people and not based on measurable results? Are Zimbabweans okay with the results they are getting from the MDC T run councils? Do we want this infrastructural collapse to go beyond 2018.
2018 is the year of playing out the truth and nothing else but the truth. There will be no sacred cows. Because thou shall tell the truth and call a spade, a spade. To MDC T own this catastrophe or disown it by resigning in protest.
