Tsvangirai is truly a leader - Musewe

A political analyst Vince Musewe has said MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai is a true leader considering his acceptance to join hands with other political parties in ahead of 2018 elections.
"I think it's time that MT shows us that he is truly a leader who puts Zimbabwe first. I would advise that he calls a reconciliation conference with all the opposition parties to patch up past differences and promises that were he to become President first he will ensure that 2018 to 2023 is a transitional period and serve one term," he said.
"Second he will establish a national management team drawn from the best of the best and not limited to his party cadres. Fourth that he will implement an inclusive economic agenda. Leaders must appoint smart people around them and those smart people must tell the leader what to do. Not the other way round. Personally I have no issues with MT being President BUT he must appoint a team around him that is not limited MDC T so that we bring in the talents and skills to revive the economy from outside including the diaspora."
He said the issue here is people need to unite and transform their country.
"Past differences must not limit what we can become. We will never get a perfect political party and we will never get rid of Zanu PF if we focus on our differences!! The views expressed herein are my own personal views so don't put me in a political box," he said.
