Former National Organiser of the Progressive Teachers Union of Zimbabwe Enock Paradzayi has parted ways with the organisation after serving it for more than 11 years.
Paradzayi announced the development through his Facebook wall.
"ITS OFFICIAL!!! I have finally parted ways with the Progressive Teachers Union of Zimbabwe(PTUZ) after eleven(11) years and four(4) months of service," he said.
"Thank you very much to all those I shared police cells with in Bulawayo from as far back as 2002, the lawyers who represented me in the courts, the journalists who covered our stories, the members who visited me when I was in the police custody, my former workmates at Mzilikazi High School, my fellow employees at PTUZ and the leadership and the membership in general for the support you gave me throughout the years."
He said he fought a good war and he could not have managed without their support.
"I wish you all the best as you take the organisation to another level," he said.
