Opposition parties leaders must stop being selfish

A political commentator Vince Musewe has urged the opposition parties leaders to stop being selfish and work together to solve the country's long time problems.
He said there is plenty of work post Mugabe.
"I have been at pains to encourage a coalition of all political parties under the grand coalition. I see we are on the same page with my brother Alex Magaisa. There is absolutely no point coalescing outside the MDCT. For me it's more about egos than common sense. What will be a critical period will be the transition from 2018 to 2023 IF the coalition wins power," he said.
"There is plenty of work for everyone. From the 100 state enterprises that need transformation to all ministries and public institutions which we must free from Zanu PF patronage, theft and incompetence . There will be no shortage of jobs and work from those in political parties social movements and those in the diaspora. We also have to transform our private sector bring in new technologies and rebuild our infrastructure. Our opposition politicians must stop being selfish and want only political positions because that creates unnecessary conflict."
He said Zimbabwe can be a 100billion dollar economy within 5 years and that is a lot of opportunity for everyone!
"I note Patson Dzamara spoke about a campaign to demand a coalition for 2018. That's exactly what I suggested six months ago. It's time for sacrifice for collective benefit of our people. This will also require those in the MDCT hierarchy to also sacrifice for the good of country and progress," he said.
"Politics of entitlement to position and power because of loyalty must now be put in the shelf by all as we reject the dictator and his coterie of thieves. Now to my readers please again let me put a caveat that this is my personal opinion as a Zimbabwean who wants freedom now and not a political position! Aluta continua not for self but for country!!!"
