2 people fataly struck by a bolt of lightning

Two people were fatally struck by a bolt of lightning on Sunday in Guruve Mashonaland Central province.

According to eye witness   Memory Rambakupetwa  (37) and her son Anyway Zirota (aged 1 year 2months) were struck to death in their house after a heavy down pour.

Rosemary Zirota (20) cheated death after sustaining burns on the fateful day and is currently admitted at Guruve hospital.

The deceased were buried on Monday in the Guruve.

Meanwhile, such cases are mushrooming in Mashonaland Central and the metrological department has also predicted more violent rains there by causing panic mood in people around Mashonaland Central
