Bulawayo water supply dams 76% full

Bulawayo's six water supply dams are now 76.27% full as rains continue to pound the catchment areas and the city.
The figures are as of the 17the of February 2017.
According to an update from the local authority, Insiza Mayfair is 101.15% full, Inyankuni (38.14%), Lower Ncema (48.19%), Umzingwane (51.64%), Upper Ncema (74.55%) and Mtshabezi is at 85.06%.
Significant rains have been received in recent days, easing the water crisis burden.
Late last year, the local authority was forced to introduce stringent water rationing regime for the city as the holding capacity had dwindled to alarming levels.
