Free sex for child's security

A MINOR is being tied, wrapped and left lying on the street as her mother hooks up with men for sex in the Harare Avenues area, H-Metro has learnt.

Netsai Munyikwa, 30, of Bikita is in the habit of hooking up with several men for sex in the company of her one year eight months old baby.

The baby is left in the care of an unnamed security guard during the night who in turn enjoys free sex with Netsai.

H-Metro tracked Netsai during the night and day and she disclosed how she is struggling to make ends meet due to stiff competition among ladies of the night.

"Gone are the days when I was looking attractive and various men would hook up with me for sex.

"I am failing to realise much money from prostitution," said Netsai.

"The competition is very stiff prompting me to charge as little as US$3 during the night and US$5 during the day for a quickie.

"One of the vendors looks after my child when I hook up with a client.

"During the night, I leave the baby in the hands of a security guard after giving him free sex but sometimes I am forced to leave the baby in the dark corners since his (security guard) bosses sometimes visit him during the night.

"As for tying the baby's legs, I will be protecting him from motor vehicles on the roads and well-wishers are helping me to feed the baby.

"I pay a dollar to the person who helps us with temporary accommodation to bath and take my clients there for a quickie, tinoati maBase.

"Due to the increasing number of ladies of the night, I have decided to go back to Bikita if I can manage to raise bus fare.

"I have been hooking up with men for sex for the past week and I am feeling sorry for my child because I am forced to leave him crying," said Netsai.

She disclosed to H-Metro that she left the country sometime in 2015 for South Africa where she was fell pregnant by one of the men she hooked up with for sex in Johannesburg.

"I left South Africa pregnant and I gave birth to this baby at Mashoko Hospital in Bikita," she said.

Asked if she is expecting to marry any time soon, Netsai said it was difficult to find serious men these days.

"Varume vacho vanoroora varipi? Kana variyo anoramba kuroorwa ndiyani?" she said as she fed her baby with milk.

Netsai said she was strict on safe sex.

"There are condoms which are being distributed to ladies of the night weekly in the Avenues and I make sure I get mine," she said.
