There have been claims that the troubled Mujuru's faction is set to hold its congress in April where it will elect Mujuru as President, John Mvundura 1st Vice President, Samuel Sipepa Nkomo 2nd VP, Mavhaire National Chairman, Gift Nyandoro Secretary General and Esnath Bulayani as Treasurer.
The claims were made by People's Democratic Party member Fortune Mlalazi who also alleged that ZimPF expelled members Didymas Mutasa and Rugare Gumbo have registered a company in the ZimPF name in efforts to block Joice Mujuru from using the name.
Mlalazi postulates that the Mujuru executive will be the weakest in the opposition circles. This gives credence to rumours that Mujuru will be joining Tsvangirai anytime soon.
Mlalazi said they received information that Gumbo and Mutasa were working flat out to deal with Mujuru following the stand off.
"Joice Mujuru to loose the name 'ZimPF' to Mutasa and group. The Fox is reliable informed that the pro- Zanu PF Mutasa group has registered a company called ZimPF Co. as a way to prohibit Mujuru from using the name," he said.
