Muzarabani celebrates Christmas in style, with help to start their livestock projects

Muzarabani South constituency has embarked on a pilot project to
revive livestock production, with the local legislator handing over
goats, pigs and a herd of cattle, to women and youth in the
constituency.
Edward Raradza said he has launched the pilot project in line with President Robert Mugabe's desire to empower youths and women at household level.
Women and youths from Muzarabani South constituency celebrated the
birth of Jesus in style as they received goats, pigs and cattle from
their local lawmaker, Edward Raradza to kick start their own
livestock projects.

The Minister of Small to Medium Enterprises and Cooperative
Development, Cde Sithembiso Nyoni who also attended the handover
ceremony, commended Cde Raradza and urged other legislators to emulate
the initiative to uplift the rural folk in their respective
constituencies.
Under the pilot project, Cde Raradza handed over 150 goats, 16
pigs and a herd of 30 cattle to several women and youths as part of
efforts to revive livestock production in the country.
