Hwange Colliery sues company over $179, 288, 49 debt

Hwange Colliery Company has sued a company called Pepper Grinder Trading for a debt of over $170 000 in respect of goods sold and delivered at specific instance and request of the defendant for the period December 5 2013 to November 21 2016

Hwange colliery filed summons at the Bulawayo High Court demanding the payment of $179 288, 49 from the owing company.

“The plaintiff’s claim against defendant is for payment in the sum of $179 288, 49 in respect of goods sold and delivered at specific instance and request of the defendant for the period December 5 2013 to November 21 2016,” reads the summons.

“Interest at a prescribed rate from date of issue of summons to date of full payment. Cost of suit.”

Pepper Grinder was given ten days to respond to the summons and is yet to do so.
