Mthwakazi Republic Party (MRP) has blasted MDC- T leader Morgan Tsvangirai for allegedly saying that he will forgive President Robert Mugabe on Gukurahundi atrocities committed against the people of Matabeleland in the 1980s.

In a statement MRP Bulawayo Provincial Spokesperson Khulekani Mathonsi said singing from the 1979 grand plan hymn book Tsvangirai has promised Mugabe and his Gukurahundi allies immunity in the event he wins the next elections.

"To us as Mthwakazi youths its nothing new more than a proxy Mashonaland politician displaying his true colours. For starters we are not even sure if Tsvangirai has clean hands in the Gukurahundi atrocities but we all know he was part of the Zanu PF party which he now claims to hate. Apart from his role during the Gukurahundi, Tsvangirai and his MDCT party have done nothing for the people of Matabeleland nation," he said.

"MDCT has in the past used its prominence to field Shona thieving MPs and Councillors in our land in the name of removing Mugabe. The useless MDCT MPs have done nothing to stop the relocation of Bulawayo firms to Harare ,rather they are busy looting the little we have as the people of Mthwakazi."

He said MDCT representatives have proven to be far much corrupt as compared to Zanu PF thugs.

"Anyway that is not a surprise at all since MDCT is a total replica of Zanu PF and a project of its satanic grand plan. Voting out this useless MDCT in the coming 2018 elections it is the only way to go.  The people of Mthwakazi must do away with this useless MDCT. Its high time we stop voting for these corrupt, "sing for lunch" representatives," he said.

"These "sing for lunch" MDCT representatives feast in Harare so we can't expect them to feel the pain caused by the industrial relocation. This is the time for organic solutions to our problems. The need for organic solutions have made us better as the people. We now have MRP as our hope from now going to 2018 and beyond. Unlike social media regional political parties which have perfected the art of being "bark by the night" political parties."

He said MRP is in touch with the people, the success of the road show hosted by MRP in the Bulawayo CBD on the 10th of March testifies to the fact that MRP is in touch with the people .

"What is more important is that the people of Mthwakazi must not just wait for 2018 to vote for MRP instead they need to join and work with the party to strategize as we approach the do or die 2018 elections," he said.
