A Kadoma based war veteran James Nyamarebvu has complained that his life is in danger from the top government officials who are fighting him of the ownership of a mine.

Nyamarebvu owns a mine inside the farm belonging to Herbert Chikowore the relative of Regis Chikowore who is the Principal Director in the Ministry of Information.

He has since taken them to court over the mine after they repeatedly blocked him from conducting his work at the site.

"By the grace of God I was served from death during the liberation struggle of this country. Now 30 years after independence I'm face to face with death from people of my own, the ones that I thought I was liberating, after my only investment, an investment I bought and serviced to the tune of US$75000.00+ from my own servings," he said.

He said h is living in fear of the top government official and is seeking the protection of the government.
