Speeding kombi ends up in tobacco field

A speeding Harare bound Globe Trotter commuter omnibus failed to break at a junction and finally stopped in a tobacco field in Mvurwi Mashonaland Central.
When Bulawayo24.com attended the scene an hour later the kombi was still in the field waiting for traffic police.
Injured passengers are reported to have been taken to Mvurwi hospital.
The driver said he was new to the area and only noticed the junction when he was close.
He complained of chest and neck pains.
