Parliament bans military uniforms, signs of ranks, flags or badges and political party regalia at public hearings

The parliament of Zimbabwe has issued a ban on the wearing or putting on of military uniforms, signs of ranks, flags or badges and political party regalia during its public hearing on local government, public works and national housing which starts on March 27 in Victoria Falls and end on March 31 in Gweru.
In a notice the clerk of Parliament said all those who will be putting on military uniforms, signs of banks, flags or badges and political party regalia will not have access to the public hearings.
"The public interested groups and organizations are invited to attend these hearings. Written submissions and correspondence are welcome and should be addressed to the Clerk of parliament," reads the notice.
According to the notice, the portfolio committee will be in Victoria Falls Chinotimba Hall on March 27, in Bulawayo City Hall on March 28, in Masvingo Civic Center on 30 March, in Beitbridge Purple Heart Hall on 29 March and Gweru Civic Center on March 31.
