A mouth watering encounter is in store this afternoon at Barbourfields Stadium where Highlanders and Caps United square off in the ZNA Commander's Charity Shield final.
However, both sides would not field their full strength squads due to national team call ups and injuries.
According to the Chronicle, Highlanders would be without vice captain, Rahman Kutsanzira who is still to recover from a has a swollen toe.
Reliable goalkeeper Ariel Sibanda, star defender Peter Muduhwa, young striker Prince Dube are in Harare in Warriors camp.
On the other hand Caps United quartet of goalkeeper Edmore Sibanda, defender Dennis Dauda, midfielders Devon Chafa and Ronald Chitiyo are also part of the Warriors side.
Highlanders coach Erol Akbay concedes that the absence of the four players would slightly affect his game as they have been preparing their onslaught with them in mind but says they are not pressing red buttons.
"We will miss them obviously but we have other players who are equally good," said Akbay told the Chronicle.
