Man (30) axes sister-in-law

A Mutare man, Chris Bvundura (30) from Marahwa Village under Chief Marange has been arrested for allegedly striking his sister-in-law with an axe after she chided him for his over-dependence on her financial support.
According to information gathered last week, Bvundura lives with his married brother.
A misunderstanding arose between the two in-laws on Christmas Eve. The sister-in-law is said to have told him he had become more of her "first-born son" because of his over-reliance on the couple's support.
He allegedly struck her four times in the legs with an axe. She is receiving treatment at Mutare Provincial Hospital.
