'Baby-face' thief manages to stay 17 for 3 years

A notorious jail nomad who for the past three years has told courts he's 17 year old has again appeared before Guruve magistrate facing unlawful entry and theft charges.
It is the state case that Tinotenda Kanembiri unlawfully entered a hut in Newrand farm and stole a satchel full of second hand clothes which he hid in a cattle kraal.
He was later seen picking the bag and a police report was filed leading to his arrest.
Guruve magistrate Nixon Mangoti remanded him in custody to 29 March.
Spiwe Makarichi prosecuted. According to prison records Kanembiri has given his age as 17 years for the past three years that he has been arraigned before the courts.
