Mthwakazi Republic Party has claimed that the ruling Zanu PF's hold onto power which it has kept since 1980 has come to an end as it will lose the 2018 elections.

MRP in a statement said it believes that the people of Mthwakazi have been presented with a more realistic chance of achieving self-determination in their life time.

"The Zanu PF holding into power since 1980 is coming to an end. Signs have begun to show that  Zanu PF walls are cracking in all directions, It's only for a little while that they will manage to keep the walls standing and the roof on top of their heads. Eventually the roof will come down the centre can no longer hold," said MRP.

"The divisions within Zanu PF are real and getting out of hand day by day. On the other hand the Zimbabwean opposition political parties are at each other's throats. The fight to replace Robert Mugabe is getting nasty especially if the media on daily basis are anything to talk about. Then Harare is cracking wider and wider. The Shona system that has been racking havoc in Mthwakazi since 1980 has never been weakened and so disjointed the way it is now."

MRP said there are serious cracks in Zanu PF, same as the so called big tents in Zimbabwe opposition politics like MDC-T and the newly formed NPP. Not to mention the failure by the Coalition of Democrats "CODE" to take off.

"These are the results and the fact that Zimbabwe was built on a false foundation. Zimbabwe is a cursed country and cannot prosper as long as the Gukurahundi Matabeleland Genocide remains unresolved.  As long as the criminals who killed thousands of people since 1980 and made millions of citizens lives miserable are still to be brought to book, it cannot prosper and therefore we cannot be part to it," said the party.

"Never the less, as MRP we call upon all progressive Mthwakazi Restoration organisations to gather strength, do the best they can. We need to find each other, accept the fact that we are all important to the Mthwakazi cause. We need each other. "ukukhala Usizi, ukukhombana ngeminwe njalo akusizi". Everyone has a role to play. We need to stop this blame game and name calling, let's focus on the real deal which is Mthwakazi Restoration."

"We need to take advantage of the Zimbabwean situation, we need to unite in our diversity and get what rightfully belongs to us. As Mthwakazi Republic Party we take this opportunity to call all Mthwakazi groups to intensify all their efforts as we march towards Restoration."

The party said  those who are pursuing for the re-installation of Mthwakazi King they fully support the Khumalos and encourage them to amicable resolve this issue and give them one King.

"Let this confusion die down we trust the Khumalo family will be able to do as promised that we are going to have our Mthwakazi King during the last quarter of this year. We would like to encourage our Mthwakazi artists to continue encouraging and teaching UMthwakazi people about their rich history and their culture through poetry, music and acting among other artistic expressions. We encourage you to continue in playing your role using your talents. What is of greater importance to MRP is to see a free Independent Mthwakazi State we don't care who will do it for us?"MRP said.

"Those who believe in engaging in other avenues that does not include participating in the elections have MRP's support. We also expect to be given a chance to do what we believe is right.  As MRP we have taken a resolution to contest the Mthwakazi Parliamentary and Council elections to be held in 2018 and we encourage all UMthwakazi people to see reason in registering to vote and voting for Mthwakazi Republic Party."

"We encourage everyone from Mthwakazi to make use of WhatsApp, twitter, Instagram, online publications and Facebook among other social networks to spread the Mthwakazi gospel, let's get Mthwakazi working again. All Mthwakazi people 18 years and above make sure you register to vote."

MRP said voting will get them self-determination, after winning next year's elections they will call for a referendum in fact the 2018 elections are a mini Referendum for Mthwakazi Restoration.

"Since 1980, the route MRP has taken has never been taken and we ask you to give it a chance, let's all focus Mthwakazi omuhle. Let's give it our all support. Sing MRP where ever you are, no single seat must be won by any Harare so called National parties," said MRP.

"Do away with Harare led parties, they don't have your interests. Mthwakazi development will come through MRP once you vote for it and it gains political power. Shona supremacy will be ended by you  voting MRP. The coming in of Shona teachers into Mthwakazi will be avoided by simple voting MRP."
