Mthwakazi Republic Party has set up new structures in South Africa at the  Kraaifontein area.

This was revealed  by MRP Cape Town branch Secretary For Information and Publicity, Lungisani Maphosa.

He said MRP held a very successful meeting and it was well attended.

"The Main Agenda was to set up Cape Town Structure. The structure stands as follows;

Chairperson....................... Moses Mpofu
Vice....................................Manuel Ncube
Secretary............................ Zanele Nkomo
Vice...................................Nombeko Bhebe
Security............................ Thulani Sibanda
Organizer.........................Buhlebenkosi Dube
Information & Publicity.... Lungisani Maphosa
Treasure......................... Portia Masuku
Committee....................Njabulo Mavolontiya
Committee................... Patience Tshuma
Sec For Traditional & Culture.... Handsome Thebe," he said.

Maphosa said the elected Cdes pledged that they would want to be the best run Diaspora branch of MRP. Members present yesterday agreed that soon they will be bringing the Mthwakazi Republic Party leadership to Capetown, where they are expected to address many of our people based here.

"We are targeting recruiting not less than 10 000 members in Cape Town before the end of this year," he said.

"The biggest problem we are facing in South Africa is that most of our people from Mthwakazi now identify themselves as South Africans yet some of them are undocumented. This is making them to disassociate themselves with their fellow brothers and sisters from Mthwakazi."

He said the reason being that most of them still don't have birth certificates and National Identity particulars back home, which make it difficult for them to get Passports. Some of them ran away from Mthwakazi during Matabeleland "Gukurahundi" genocide committed by Mugabe's government from 1982 to 87.

As MRP Cape Town we are urging all our people to come forth and fight for what is rightfully theirs, prepare for a better future for their children our inheritance is in Mthwakazi not here.

"The committee have said they will make sure that they unite everyone of us in Cape Town to rally behind our leader Cde Mqondisi Moyo and his team. Efforts are being made to take the Mthwakazi Restoration Agenda to every corner,"said Maphosa.
