Jundu languishes in remand over two murder cases

A suspected serial killer who murdered two friends allegedly ritual purposes is languishing in remand prison pending the extradition of his case to the High Court to face tow counts of murder.
Rodney Tongai Jindu (26) today appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya for his routine remand and was remanded to April 19.
Allegations are that on January 29 this year along foot path in Glengarry and Queenspark East in Bulawayo Jindu was in the company of his childhood friend Cyprain Kudzurnga walking from Glengarry to Queenspark East. He was armed with an optima shotgun serial number 13752.
He allegedly sho Kudzurunga twice on the head and abdomen and he died on the spot. Jindu allegedly took the body using a wheelbarrow and bundled it into the boot of the car . He allegedly took the deceased's mobile p-hone and laptop and later buried him in a shallow grave.
Earlier one it is alleged that Jindu had killed Mboneli Joko Ncube (30), after he allegedly gave Ncube, a neighbour, a lift from a supermarket in the city to Burnside.
Jindu allegedly later drew an Optima shotgun, serial number 13 752, from his motor vehicle before shooting Ncube twice in the chest, killing him instantly.
It is alleged that he then chopped the body into several parts before burying some of the parts in four different shallow graves. Jindu allegedly took some of the body parts to an as-yet-to-be-ascertained destination.
