The Zimbabwe Republic Police is advising people who will be going to Gweru Provincial Hospital to identify their relatives who died in the Proliner bus accident to bring with them utensils such as tooth brushes used by the deceased for DNA tests to be conducted.
ZRP national spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba said they have been advised by the DNA experts that those coming to identify the bodies should be close relatives who include parents, children, or siblings who include sisters or brothers.
Twenty people died on Wednesday night following an accident involving a South Africa bound Proliner bus and a haulage truck near the Driefontein Turn Off near Mvuma along the Harare-Masvingo road.
Forty-three people were injured in the accident.
