HOME Affairs minister, Kembo Mohadi has been dragged to court by a war veteran over a property ownership feud.
According to court papers seen by this publication, the war veteran - Given Mbedzi claims to have been threatened with unspecified action after he and his brother refused to be ejected from a property they allege they allege was duly allocated to them in 2003.
The ex-combatant also claims that Mohadi also threatened his elderly mother - Philani Ndou.
Mohadi's son is said to have "gone crazy" and assaulted Mbedzi's mother and deflated the tyres of a hired car that the war veteran was using.
Mbedzi appeared at the Beitbridge magistrate court yesterday facing charges of causing malicious injury to property after tempering with locks that were put by the Mohadis at Lot 9 of Plot Number 1, Jopembe Block.
The case did not take off after the area public prosecutor referred Blessing Gundani referred it to the Gwanda Provincial magistrate.
