Widow caught stealing 24 metal plates

A 30-year-old widow was fined $100 for stealing 24 metal plates from a wholesaler in Mvurwi.
According to court records, on 9 April 2017 Sarudzai Makope (30) entered Golly's Wholesale in Mvurwi and stole 24 plates valued at $48.
Makope was caught by a security guard as she tried to walk out of the shop. She was surrendered to the police.
In court Makope pleaded guilt to theft and was slapped with $100 fine.
