Spiritual clinics on the rise

An upsurge in Pentecostal churches coming up with all sorts of tags allegedly used to lure multitudes of people for the love of the dollar has not dissuaded those with ailments and afflictions from seeking deliverance.

This new phenomenon of spiritual healing and deliverance is on the rise as churches rival medical institutions which offer scientifically proven treatment.

To the eye, it appears just as people are in trances or are possessed by violent demonic forces which leave them unaware of their circumstances.

This is but one of the scenes during a session dubbed spiritual clinic held once weekly in the capital where all sorts of afflictions are treated through the power of the Holy Spirit.

There are claims that just like the Biblical times when the Son of Man healed the lame, gave sight to the blind, made the deaf hear and even raised the dead these similar miracles are happening in present day churches.

While those affected by physical, medical and spiritual challenges flock to these churches seeking help and deliverance, some still believe and claim that these are mere stunts and ploys to siphon cash from the gullible.
